During the Summer/Fall of 2018, I was feeling lost musically. For most of my adolescent life, I was a Pop-Punk kid. I was very into bands like The Story So Far, Citizen, Turnover, Real Friends, Knuckle Puck, etc. But while I didn't want to admit it at the time, I think I had outgrown most of these artists and was looking for something new.

Enter Berhana. I'm not sure how this happened, but I ended up on his website during this time and signed up for his mailing list which allowed me a free download of his self titled EP, which featured "Grey Luh" and "Janet". But at that point that was all he had

I rediscovered him last year when his song "California" was featured as the end credits theme for the series finale of Bel-Air (yes the dramatic retelling of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), which led me to pick up his album HAN

His discography is not very long at all, so honestly giving it a listen won't take too much time. But if you only have 35 minutes, HAN is the way to go
